Ålesund, 16.05.2023: VARD, one of the major global designers and shipbuilders of specialized vessels, is pleased to announce that we have signed a contract for the design and construction of two Commissioning Service Operation Vessels (CSOVs) for UK based Purus Wind.

The FCS 3210s and the CSOV will not only be equipped for ultra-low emission operations, but they have also been designed to be upgraded to methanol-fuelled engines when the time comes.
